I’m not sure if this page is supposed to be about the website or about me. If I’m explaining this website, I’d say it’s my new medium for sharing news and updates about my life in ministry with those who care about me and pray for me. So this website, essentially is about me. If I’m explaining who I am, maybe it’s best if I just post updates and eventually it will be clear who I am. But I can’t imagine too many people will see this site who don’t already know.
But for the sake of those of you who are like me and want the shortcut, I’ll spare you the time sorting through all of the posts to learn who I am. It’s actually very optimistic for me to make that comment because as of today, there are all of 2 posts to sort through. I’m just assuming that I won’t update this “About” part too often, and by the time someone who doesn’t know me wanders accross this page looking for information, this site will be well established and have a long history of posts.
Here’s a little disclaimer. Almost no paragraph I write follows through to the last sentence maintaining the same topic as the first. Like the paragraph I just wrote was supposed to be about me. But by the end of the paragraph I was talking about the website again, and nowhere in between did I even mention my intended subject. Why in the world would anyone want to read anything I write? I’m really not qualified to have my own website.
So about me. I really dont’ think there’s much left to say. Those first few paragraphs were pretty informative. What else would you need to know? Staff guy with Campus Crusade for Christ, serving at Auburn University. Graduated from Mississippi State in 2003, from Tupelo High School in 1997. Those quick with numbers are laughing at me for spending 6 years in college. Those who aren’t quick with numbers are now laughing because I just did the math for you. After college I went to Italy for two years with Campus Crusade. One year in Pisa, a second year in Salerno (Amalfi Coast). Then I joined staff full time with Crusade, spent a year at Auburn, then another year back in Salerno. In Jan 2008 I moved to Florence to begin my long term (ICS) commitment to the campus ministry there in Italy.
My family is still in Tupelo, including my parents, my older sister, Amanda, and my younger sister, Kathryn, and my brother-in-law, Blake.
